Speaking of u joints, i am going through my splicer u joints on my blazer at a rate of one every two months. Is there a better brand to use? Or i used to have a 700r4 208 and now i have a th350 and a 203. could this have messed with my pinion angle so much to start burning up u joints?

The PDQ joints are made by Neapco, the brute forces are as well.

There are three main things that will cause a ujoint to wear out fast; installed too tight, no grease, or bad angles.

brute force

I am a believer in Brute Force, have had good luck with them so far, even had a complete one slung out when the ears on my D44 shafts broke but the u-joint was intact!

Which side is going out, the driveshaft sides or the yoke? If you are getting splicer ujoints that's probably your first problem, I've never even heard of splicer. Spicer joints are good though.
