This weeks topic of the week. Yes, I know it's Friday 2finger

Coil spring vs. leaf spring

which works better in what situation?

Coils front, Leaves rear?

How did you set yours up?

I havent run coils yet, but one major benefit is the added aproach and departure angles.

I've also had a problem with the soft leaf springs bending and loosing height if you flex them too much.

Also with the right link/coil setup you dont have to worry about axle wrap.

I've built for others front leaf rear coils and a coils both ends and the 3 link is a great set up in the rear .. but on the front for a D/D is sucks.... works good off road but its hard to get a steering system to keep up with it if you build ot right :bigok: my nexted crawler will be leaf front coil rear :bling:
