i want the overdrive again... since i'm not going to hardcore wheel this truck.. i'd like to once again have overdrive if i'm to drive it places to wheel.

So..... what's everyone got? just testing the waters right now...
If the deal is out there... I'd like to get it done

The trans has about 6000 miles on rebuild, shifts great.
I have receipt from previous owner.

The 241 has a vib in it (needs rebuild).

Both are still in truck (90 blazer), you can drive before I pull them.

Rear drive shaft is balanced with a 1350 u-joint at back.

Is your 400 the k-case ?
205 fixed yoke ?
Whats the condition of both ?

If so I will trade for your 400/205.
Im in the Dallas area

Mine is a 400 K case... with a fixed yoke 205.
The only problem with the tcase is the shifter rattles badly.. I don't have the proper shift (u-bolt) that connects the shift bridge to the shifter.. mine was from a ford 205 shifter.
I just need the correct piece... and that will stop the rattle. It only does it on deceleration....

The th 400 was rebuilt prior to me buying it.. less than 500 miles on the transmission.

I was planning on getting the SYE kit for the 241.. so this could work.

Were you thinking even trade?
Oh.. and the driveshaft was made at Austin Drivetrain. Has the big U-joints on it... for the one ton conversion...
