Canadian River Work Weekend

A good group of folks went to the river to do some more work this weekend.
We wanted some fresh, never before used trails for our comp coming up.
Three chainsaws & several sets of hands made clearing a hillside of brush & mesquite bushes go by rather fast. The hillside was still a lil soft from all the recent snows, but Rockchip & Gorrila did a good job of making some fresh lines to crawl. After a few rocks were moved(some by hand, some by machine) we were very happy with the results.
Just a few pics of the work & action.

Hard work always pays off

Loose rocks dont stay in place long when a rig this big comes through.

After finding the right line, Rockchip made his way up & out.

Yes,there was some carnage. Gorrilas front driveshaft CV couldnt handle the pressure & ended his fun for the day.

The exit to the extreme trail is,well, rather extreme.

Big thanks to both Gorrila & Rockchip for flogging there rigs for the cause. Also to Jeromy,Boulder Jumper,my son Chase & several of Gorrilas work buddies for helping out all day. I think all the work (ok,play) will pay off & itll be the best Comp yet at the Canadian River.
Come on out & take a look,or even enter up in one of the three classes.bigok

All the rest of the action can be seen here

We still need some work on that butt crack fiiler putty huh?
I'll make sure the helpers are given thanks.
Maybe we can start a fund to help someone get a belt?
Belts don't even come close.....with a plumers crack like mine, I need some full coveralls......it is not my fault Evan like to take pics of my behind, I am scared to think what he does with them.

It was a tuff choice this weekend....Do I spent the money on the belt or do I spend the money on the BBC, I think you can see my choice. Maybe we should take up a collection to fix my truck and then I could afford the belt.

Is that the only part of the double cardan that gets replaced, or it's just the part they showed in the pic?
