Thanks for the pics Kilo, and it was nice to meet you also.

My group left for Clayton, OK on Friday after Thumper and his date got to my house. His date ending up having the same name as my wife did- lol. After a couple of stops on the way up there we pulled into the A&A motel and "dry docked" there for the weekend.
After it got dark we hit the trails with Benji, JJ, Bobby, and Thumper. Shortly after we got started the Clutch MS started giving me problems on my rig. The guys tried to fix it on the trail by taking the clutch line off and blowing air into the MS. That helped a little, but I still didn't have a full clutch. It wasn't very long after that I flopped it (wife side down) in the water. I thought my wife was funny when she got on the CB and said "SOS- NOW we are upside down in the water.......we are also on fire!". With the way the rig was laying, fluid from the Hydro steering reservoir vent line was dripping on the exhaust manifold, and each time it dripped it would flame up. I think I will reroute that vent line somewhere else. After that we called it a night while the rest of the guys went wheeling. Tab needed some dry clothes and I was tried and didn't feel safe with the way the rig was acting.

The next morning I got up and checked all my fluids, I also took the rig to the car wash cleaned the rig back up. When I got back to the motel I found out Thumper broke his rear output on his T-case and was down for the weekend. About this time it started raining and I was glad I spent the money on the Aluminum roof. When most of the heavy rain moved out we hit the trails again. I took it real easy on my rig for a little while. Around lunch time Chris broke his front drive shaft on his rig. Bobby pulled out his little bag of welding stuff and welded it back together under the rig. I thought the welding kit was very neat.

More later.........

Yeah it is stock, but wont be EVER again. Im gonna upgrade to a Longfield for $220 bucks. Also gonna attempt to fix my tranny (no 3rd or 4th gear) and install the 4.7's in the back case while I got it tore down. Reseal everything back up and give it a nice fresh coat of paint. Should be ready next year.....LOL!

ya i think thats what im going to do. especially since you have to tear the entire t-case down to swap the shaft. i don't wana have to take it apart again. cheap insurance i guess.
i just don't wana have to spend anymore money on this yota stuff!

your spotter was taking pics also, where are they at?- lol
I have about 7 mins of video clips put together. The problem is my wife shot the video in HD and my editing program is having hell converting it. Last to times it left the sound off the video.

After Bobby got Chris's drive shaft welded back together we headed over to Green Mamba. There we found a Jeep broke down in the middle of the trail. After looking things over for a little bit Bobby thought I might be able to try a new line. I was kind of worried because the water in this area can get real deep real fast. Bobby put me on a good line because the water got over my axles. I hit the rock face just right because I was able to get the front of the rig right up. After 4 or 5 tries of trying to up I asked for a winch and got up it that way.
With that Jeep still in the middle of the trail, Benji gave that rock face a try also. Benji put on a great show trying to get his front up on the rock, and when he gave up on it he found one of those deep water holes I was worried about. My wife got some good video of his rig under water- lol
About this time they cleared the trail and we moved on down Green Mambo. I love the Green Mambo trail. Mostly the trail flat with great big rocks to drive over. Almost like a never ending garden, but with a twist, there are some very big rocks here. I would recommend this trail to anybody and everybody that goes to Clayton. All the really bad stuff on this trail has a by-pass, so it is great trail for everybody.
The next trail we did was Green Mamba Ext. The Ext. is one toughest trails in the park. Sadly our battery in the video camera went down about half through the trail. If I hadn't been riding with the zuki boys I might have turned round when I seen the size of the rocks we was driving over and through. I got to say both Jonas's rig and my rig did real good getting through this trail. JJ had a flop on the Ext. much to the joy crowd. Everybody jumped in real fast and put him back on all four wheels real fast.

After running Green Mamba Ext. Jonas went ahead and headed for the house. We told him we was only going to run one more trail before going back to camp, but he went home anyway saying his rig wasn't broke yet and onlrunning one more trail was a sure way for the **** to hit the fan. - lol Bobby said he wanted to run Black Sheep, so he headed that way. I was in the lead and went right up the hill, with the other guys right behind me. We ran the trail half way up the maintain and called it a night.
We went back to the camp and drank late into the night, because we were to tired to go back on the trails. I really enjoyed wheeling with this group of rigs this weekend. At times I was worried my 37" tires might slow the group down, but my rig did great hanging in there wit the 40" suckrocks.

I don't remembering him asking anybody what they thought about it, but I know he got lots of complements on what and where his rig would go. Jonas and I are both at 106" on the wheel base.

The only way I'll get to go back to Clayton anytime soon is if I can make some money before then. I'm saving my bank roll for Summer Run at Satan's playground at the end of May.

It amazes me everytime I see it go. I can only hope mine goes half the places he takes his. I think he said my wheel base is going to be 107".
