Yep, once again we made another trip out to Clayton to see what we could tear up and we did a very good job of tearing up a bunch of stuff.

We had only made it to the second trail before the tubed out jeep lost a lower radiator hose. That was a easy fix and we where back on our way to Jeff's Ledges.

After Jeff's Ledges I was crawling over a few big rocks when all hell broke loose under my rig. My lower link bar on the driver side let loose and fell out that let the front axle roll out from under my rig breaking the passanger side shock and pulling my drive shaft apart. Luckily nothing major broke and Jonas with the help of everyone else had my junk back on the trail in no time. I think the new bash hood had some bad Jue-Jue.bsflg

After stalling for a few minutes we made our way up to 3 trail and ran it up to the big ledge at the top. Jonas gave it hell but just couldn't find the right line and finally backed off before he broke something. The tubed out jeep worked on it for a few minutes but the stickie Isuks found the bite and went on up. Damon in his new tube buggy made it look stupid with the Krawlers and never slowed down.

After 3 trail we went over to Slims Slope were the guy in the XJ or what ever the big blue rig is broke a front axle. We had to winch him out of the tight spot that burned up a few minutes of day light. After Slim's slope I met back up with Mitch since he was having electrical issues and took him back down the mountain.

The PIG was not happy with the cheap a $ $ battery Mitch put on it.chrfal

After reaching the bottom I took Mitch down Green Momba since you cann't go to Clayton with out running Green Momba. The big old fat PIG really suprised me and walked right up the big waterfall.(waterless waterfall)chrfal

This sign is only like 3 foot off the groud.popcornn

We even stopped to pick up a bunch of beer cans some loosers tossed out.nonon

We just stopped for a few poser shots.

While we played on Green Momba Jonas and the other two buggies went over to the real hard stuff. Some how Jonas ended up breaking a Longfield axle so they all called it a day.

I bet it was HOT!!!! I remeber the first time I went in July when I had the M880, no water anywhere. Very dry and HOT!! Had fun never the less. Plan on going back this fall when it cools down.

Great pics!!!:toast:

Man it was AWESOME!!! I cant wait to go back! 4 hour trip and a little over a tank of fuel. It was nice that there wasnt anyone else there, very relaxing. Huge thanks to Chris for showing me around and helping with the battey issue I was having. Definately going to have to go more often now that I know what it's like!

Had a ball up there this weekend! Even with all the breaking we still got quite a few trails in. We ended the day by running plucked and ******* millionaire. All three buggies made it up plucked with no winching, but right after the begining of *******, I snapped the left front longfield. Will pull it out and get pics later on. All in all great ride, not too hot with all the shade and a nice breeze, and the clayton inn is under new management and has really cleaned up! And good to see ya again Mitch! Can't wait to go back again! :toast:
