Hey george...i bought some new tires (38.5 SX's) and did a day trip to Gilmer while yall all went to Clayton, and let me tell you..i love these new tires.

I dont know if i just happened to catch the lines just right, but i walked dewoody twice, once exiting up the left side, then exiting up the middle.
These tires just grab so well! Plus i had 7 lbs. in all four corners, since i was by myself, i didnt want to risk loosing a bead with the new tires and wheels (wheels are reversed wheels w/ 1.5" backspacing).

Next we go out as a group, i want to try the right side.

Maybe its just the angle of the camera, but whats the wheelbase of the silver tubed buggy w/ a white hood? what size tires too? That thing looks freakin looooong.
Looks like he was running some high pressure in those tires too?

i dunno when you went last but brad pelett said they had been going out there every weekend and digging out all the hard climbs and making them worse. i could of crawled it but that's boring.

wheelbase on my buggy is 110 with 42" with 2 psi in them
its light so the tires don't bulge much

Grove them and see how good they do! I'm taking my rig over to bobby's place this week so he can raise my roof, so I'll be down until he gets that done.
The Right side, Humm......I have been needing some video of someone going over on their roof. That is such a big wall on that side that I would think longer WB and big tires would be key to getting up that side. There is a guy from Houston with a gray jeep on 49" tires that climbs that side of the hill and he is always pointed straight up in the air with his front tires bouncing off the top ledge.
