Well we just got back from the superlift park a couple hours ago. This was the first real big run for the truck and I got to wheel it on a few good trails and I ended up limping to the parking lot and loading it up on the trailer about 3/4 of the way through the first day. First off the new wheels and tires I bought a couple weeks ago. The wheels did great had no problems but the tires are junk and started falling apart. The right rear is the worst. It started just splitting and eventually chunks just started falling off the sidewall. The eventually the whole tread seperated. This happened as I got about half way up ingrids revenge. A tough 5 diamond. I got on the first big obstacle on ingrids revend which is just a big slap that is pretty steep. I hit the right side which is the steepest part. My front link bar got pulled forward again and the shackle folded over and broke the front link bar. I had already went on some other trails and came up some steep hills so I thought that making it 3" long was the fix for it. Of course when the shackle folded over it pulled the front driveshaft apart. Also right before the front driveshaft pulled apart my rear window shattered!! I had tried to hammer up the hill a couple times and I came to a complete stop. When I put it in reverse that is when the rear window shattered. I had hit a tree and smashed to side of the cab a bit so I am thinking it was just in a bind and that cause it to shatter. Anyways we still ended up having a great time!! Hit lots of 4-5 diamond trails and we ended up going about 30 miles between 2 days.

We had 5 rigs and on the suburban we bent a front leaf spring and lower u-bolt plate on the left side of the front axle. The blue jeep had one small problem with a bolt on the t-case causing it to leak and the black jeep had no problems at all and he followed us everywhere we went. The camo blazer with the orange roll cage had the crossmemeber under the motor bend and got into the harmonic balancer AGAIN!! So we got the fixed. Then the 2nd day of wheeling we was gonna hit one more 5 diamond trail and we noticed the right front wheel BROKE!! He bought them last year and they are supposed to USA6X6 internal beadlock wheels. Now to the pics.

New stickers put on the days before. They didnt last long.

We didnt get any pics on the trails so here are the after pics.

Was coming up a hill after everyone else did and it was wet and got slick. Had to hammer on it pretty good and everytime I would the truck would slid into a tree on the driver side and managed to bend my spot light so now it dont flip up any more.

Whats left of the tire.

This one started coming apart. This is how the right rear started and the chunks just started getting bigger.

Broke wheel.

What it is supposed to look like.

Also was coming up a trail and a tree that was on the ground got wedged between the toolbox and crossmember the gas tank is ratcheted to and managed to push up the tank, dent it up, and bent up the square tubing I put on the back to hold stuff. It broke the ratchet strap on the left side of the tank.

Broke front link bar used to control axle wrap. What I did to make it 3"s longer was just cut it and put a piece of 1" solid bar inside the 1.5" .250 wall DOM and just got another piece of 3" DOM and welded it all up. Well I guess when I welded it I did get good enough penetration and the weld broke. It wouldnt of broke if the shackle hadn't of folded over but it did.

I was worried about it too. In fact I didnt really want to go without a winch or a rollcage. But my friends talked me in to it and said it was ok to go without a winch. This was my 2nd trip up there with them and we beat on the rigs extremely hard and do 4-5 diamond trails and have not rolled yet. We also his one 6 diamonds each time we went. Last year when we went labor day weekend we did impossible and the suburban made it up it without winching.

Not all the trails are so extreme for you to need a full cage. There's lots of sane stuff up there too.

For what the rig is it is extremely capable. It is probably the most capable rig in the group. It is definately the heavy and longest rig you will see on the trail and everythig has been built bulletproof. Since he blew that t-case on De woody he added a STak III in it place, a Vortech 454, dynatrac hubs up front, ARB's front and rear, choromoly axles in the rear, Trailready beadlocks, and new 44" TSL up front and boggers in the rear. He has already twisted the splines on the driver side axle shaft in the 14BFF.

It took 5 hours from the hotel to my house which is about 8 miles north of lufkin. It was just under 300 miles and got 8 miles per gallon. The hotel we stayed at was about 6 miles from the park. It is called knights inn. It is a cheap one but its comfortable. It was $160 for 3 nights.

Not sure yet. I believe it was pitbull came out with a new 47" tire for 20's that I looked at a couple weeks ago that I liked or it they come out with a 47" LTB for 20's I would like to run those. Right at the moment I am tapped out money wise from the past build and buying those wheels and tires so I cant get anything for a while. I may go ahead and see if I can find a set of 46" military tires. THe ones that look like a goodyear MTR. I have heard that they are a lot lighter.
