Moab during the jeep invasion
What a trip! More jeeps than I have ever seen. Everything from stock to the $200,000 stuff that just has a jeep skin. I drove out Wednesday after work took 6 1/2 hrs from here. We got up on Thursday and went to the vendor show. Very impressive. Lots of people and stuff I did not even know they made.
We left there at 11 and went on Hell's revenge. I did one of the bowls and the escalator to hell. Tried a couple of other climbs but I need to be lower and have stickies for sure.
Made it back to the hotel drinking in the parking lot when John says look at your rear drive line. Bad ujoint so we replaced it in the parking lot.
Friday we went and did Pritchard (sp?) canyon. Made it up chewy and the next couple of obstacles. Then I was bouncing up another one and snapped a ujoint in the front shaft. I got that fixed then started up and realized only 3 wheels wheels were turning. I broke the 35 spline Warn premium lockout. No spare with me so I winched up the last 2 climbs.
Then it was a 15 mile drive to the road.
Sorry no pics yet the camera guy is still there.
If you have never been plan on going. The Easter Jeep Safari is a lot of fun.
If anyone plans a trip there let me know and I will tag along.
