Nov. Run at Clayton OK

You boys and girls don't know what you missed at Clayton OK this weekend. The weather was perfect and the wheelin was even better.

This was the first run for the new my new buggy and I couldn't have asked for anything better once we got a few minor bugs worked out of the hyro steering. I'm done with all that heavy metal stuff and will be sticking the the light weight stuff for a while. Big thanks to Jonas again for building suck a sick buggy and for helping me get my steering all lined out agian Friday.

We ran almost every thing Clayton had to offer and never slowed down during the two days we were there. I don't know how many rigs showed up but they were every where including broken rigs all over the place as well. Jonas really know's his way around the place and keep the party rolling.

We never really had time for pics but we did take a minute for a group photo.

Maybe next time more will show up to take their own pics. lol

So, what all damage did the Piglet take, other than overloading the driverside suspension?

We had a blast! Ya'll missed a great time! I can't get enough of that place. Buggies performed great, and are still ready to go again although I think Monster has a little touch up to do on his paint...lol! That thing is spotless!!! I think next time I'm going to take his hood off for him so he won't be so worried about scratching it... I also have to say that those damn toyota axles are still holding up great to 42's and I was pushing them pretty hard this weekend!

Hey MonsterCrawler, I was looking for you but was probably finished before you got a good start. I cracked the tranny case early on and had to put it on the trailer Friday.

Your rig looks good in the pics...nice job!!

Get it fixed and lets make another Clayton run soon. What did you think of the place before you broke?

Sorry for not stopping by your camp but my tow rig was blocked in all weekend.

I just bought me a book on rebuilding a TH350 so this may take a while. I liked Clayton. All I got to run was Blacksheep Blvd. It had a kicka** entrance. Good thing you didnt drive your buggy around town, one of the guys with us got a ticket for no insurance. He didnt have plates or insp or even his TDL with him so it could have been worse.

He was a state trooper. He said he was born and raised in Clayton and if he had his way there wouldnt be ANY 4x4 activity allowed in the whole area. Didnt like outsiders coming in. Pretty stupid I say. We outsiders put alot of dollars in HIS town.

If it wasn't for us that dump of a town would fall off the face of the earth. Them him to call the Judge of Clayton and I bet he or she will work with them.

The rockcrawlin in Clayton is top notch but I can't say much for the rest of it. The local cops will just wave and let you pass.

I will make sure to visit with the town elders on this matter when we are up there. They know very well that our sport is a major revenue generator there.

I think I saw one other Zuki while we where up there.

There was a ton of rigs but I'm not much on taking pics of rigs that I know nothing about. Lots of big money rigs running around for sure.
