Trees, 4-6-13

Here's the only good video I have. I finally made it over to I Scream Sunday. After several tries of crawling and adjusting my line, I finally hit it and made it up.

I tried and it was a good thing i got denied. Forgot to turn on my fan when I noticed it at about 230* all i have to show for it was two bent rear leaf springs.
But, I might have bent them on the dead cow ledge. I fawking hammered it like no tomorrow and made it over. That's when I noticed a hissing sound. I was thinking propane line and it was my rear driver side tire. Jorge hooked me up with some plugs and air. Drove my rig back to camp to change it out.
All in all a great weekend of wheeling. Felt bad for Rastus not being able to continue with our group.
Ill see if I can down load the few pics and video i took of SAK5 and Jorge on Turkey run left.
As for my Yoda besides Ice Cream Sunday. I made all the trails without the use of a winch or strap. well I did take the by pass on stairway to heaven. If Leroy was having problems with stickies..my slicks wasn't going to be any better.
Of all the trails we did. Turkey Run left was by for the most challenging.
Rastus hitting the Jeep Trails

The Big Rock that he got denied on.

Out of Respect to the Man. He did get the Front tire over it...but his fuel delivery stopped him. We wrenched on it for a few..but still no dice.
Jeff and his wife hitting the entrance to might mouse i think it was.

THe sun setting behind my rig.

My Rig hanging out back.

Razorback Rode shotgun which was cool. Been Best friends for well over 27 years now. And thanks you all. A Birthday trip to remember.
Ill see if i can D.L. the vids and post them a little later.

The Propane did great. easy start and never once did I kill the engine. Still have that gas carb syndrome. At all cost don't kill the engine. lol
Plenty of power that's for sure. Despite it being Friday. I didn't hold back on the go pedal. I couldn't let my first obstacle laugh in my face. I won the battle and lost the war. Limped back to camp on a cut tire.
For being a V6 That little engine has some balls.
My SM465 rattles in first gear. I don't look forward to changing it out. and I think my warranty is expired. I know their is a guy on here with one for 175 hopefully he still has it in a couple of weeks. I'm sure the cost of a rebuild on mine is more then that. Will see....never really drove it in first gear but still would be nice if the guy had a exchange. The first day I was able to drive it at Rastus house. I heard it and that was without the front drive shaft. So i know its not that making the noise. All other gears are fine.
Thanks for answering all my calls Harley.
