Wftw 2009

I had a great time and seeing the Armed Force coming in on the bus got me a little choked up.
Jorge was their to greet and help out.

Air Force, Marines and Army United as one. I had the Pleasure to have Mary Rid in my rig. We hit Midnight run.

Rigs were not in short supply. We had lines of Volunteers ready to throw down to take a soldier wheeling.

Midnighters serving lunch and never missed a beat.

Off the bus and getting in line for a gift bag and lots of FREEBIES.
more club members representing!!!!

RVREDDOG working.

Chuck wagon firing it up.

I'll continue this post later.
Mike

All are my pics are here.

You weren't the only toyota to throw a front shaft on the road. did you get a shot of where BJs rig almost went over? haha

I had a good time, hopefully this becomes a continuing event like they were talking about.

Thanks everyone.

I got you. No, I didn't get a pic of that one. He looked stable to me.

It would be cool to get Video of the guy that was out their filming everything. I didn't catch all the details of all involved.
The whole event was cool..I wish I wasn't hurting so bad. I wanted to stay a check out the Band and everything after 5pm Saturday.

Bunker is not kidding. This was the best wheeling trip I have ever been on. I had an absolute blast and the great thing is, everyone did. Not one complaint. We met some really fine folks out there and it was a pure pleasure for us to be a part of it. I thank everyone who made it possible for allowing us to particapate. It was a true honor. We made some good friends that I hope to stay in contact with for a long time. In my opinion, the best of best were out there this weekend, and we had the priveledge to ride them around. Thank you to everyone that it possible.

Wanted to share this e-mail I received from one of our sponsors.

Richard,

I just wanted to congratulate you, ALL your team and volunteers on a wonderful event
and day at the "Wheelers for the Wounded" day. I know you are relieved it is over but
I also know that you blessed many people with ALL your efforts.

We had a great time. Our off road experience was very exciting and pleasurable. Our
driver "Paul" was great with the kids and very gracious. In fact, it blows me away to see
ALL the "Wheelers" give their time and money to celebrate the wonderful service and
sacrifice of the people in our armed forces.

We can not thank you enough for the opportunity to be involved and participate in this event.
Thank God for people like you, all the volunteers and the men and women who protect our
freedom and way of life.

Thanks again!!!!!!!!!
Gary

Here is another e-mail received today. I think it is important that all involved with this event hear the voices of these people.

Thanks,

Richard

To Richard, Jeff and Jean,
I want to let you know how honored I am and blessed to have been involved with the great group of people who put on the Wheelers for the Wounded event last week.

Richard, Lynn and all the Midnight Four Wheelers are the best and most giving people I have met. They know how to have fun and enjoy life and care about people they meet along the way. It was great to work with them and a real honor when Richard said they had adopted me into their group.
I have been a member of Hidden Fall Ranch for about a year and a half and Jeff and all the people at Hidden Falls treat me like I am King of the world when I am there. They show how much they enjoy people having fun and make me and all the other guests feel like we are very welcome and we do have fun. This is a very special ranch that God created with very special people on it. Every time I visit the ranch I feel closer to God. This was a perfect place for the Wounded Warrior Event. Jeff and all his crew worked hard to help put on the event and I feel they deserve much credit for its success.
Jean and the chamber and the City of Marble Falls were the grease for the wheels for this event. Jean is so full of life and knows everyone and we were blessed to have her be a big part of our event. I can not say enough about the City of Marble Falls and its people. It is a beautiful town with beautiful people, that as it grows , thet have not lost their small town roots.
We had a great group of volunteers from the Chuck Wagon Ladies to all the Jeep owners. All of them worked and were a pleasure to be around. Every one of them had great personalites All the Jeep owners were as different as their Jeeps. I was blessed to meet them
Jason has put his life on hold to help Wounded Warriors put their life back together.I can not say enough about him, just Thanks Alot !! This event was a big success because of Jason and all the volunteers that took time out of their lives to put this on. God will Bless all of you.

John Collins
