Arrow Something new for the outboarding crowd......

These came to be while searching for a good way, I ran into one of my competitors making something with the same idea but only done halfway. We finished the job and made them the way they should be made, made to last and take the abuse rock crawling can dish out. You can see how they are angled front and rear to avoid hanging up on rocks and how they are reinforced to take the pounding too!

These weld on both the side and bottom of the frame for greater strength and the end caps completely box the structure for maximum impact resistance. These would work equally well as lower link mounting positions on either the inside or the outside of the frame and thats why we make them both 4.5" & 7" long for the flat bottom surface. Also, being 1/4" thick helps a bit

Hmm, i think those would work great for inboarding the rear springs on my F-toy. How much for a pair?

Thanks Guys.....

We are going to use them on an FJ40 next week to inboard the lower Links to get more triangulation but we just finished them and none are in use yet. The idea is simple so no testing was needed, just a way to make them.

They have 4 bends in them and like to get stuck on the dies so they are a little higher than I'd like but the small (4.5" x 4.5") are $55 a pair and the large (7" x 4.5") are $60 a pair. We should be able to bring the price down as we make more......

The whole idea was to get away from the gussets from hell syndrome, by buliding the shape with one piece you can be much stronger and way better looking. To use them as inboarding platforms is just what kind of use we had in mind, I really think these could be very versatile in use, even crossmembers.....

The second pic shows the view as it would be from the bottom, the 1st pic shows the shape.

It has been a while since this was updated, these have been holding up tremendously for many years now.

I used them on my FJ45, and I have seen them used for in-boarding and out boarding, with Link mounts and Spring hanger.

One guy flipped them upside down, welded them on the top of the frame to land his roll-cage on.
