Yep I was!!!!!



Notice the cracked trans where it bolts up to the black box. Gerrrrrrrrrrrrr
Snapped a rear axle and 5 teeth on the ring gear in the front gave up.

There are two mounts one just after the trans then one aftrer the black box.

Well it's a r700 4 bolts to connect to the t case. I cracked it before we welded it and it held for a while.

There's always the right pedal in the cab.....that could be causing all the
problems. The truck weighs in at 5500 lbs.

The other guys I wheel with have changed to standard trans (they were cracking a the autos also). I really don't want to change to a stick. (To hard to hold a while driving).

I'm going to install a t400 with a 6bolt rear flange, I was told by some people that it's going to be tougher. I have thought about making a collar to fit around the tail shaft of the t400 and it would be welded to the trans to beef up the week bolt bosses.

There's a good chance the frame is flexing so much it's working things up and down along with twisting things. This is what I think is the biggest problem. The engine produces about 425 hp. I also suspect the torque on the front drive shaft is causing a twisting force on the back of the tranny.
I'm never hard on it and only drive it on weekends and never very far. I don't understand?? LOL
