14 bolt brakes???

stupid us took the brakes off the 14 bolt and trashed them cause they were real worn, but now we decided against the disc swap for now (cause of needs to swap master cylinders) and need a drum setup again. anyone got a complete setup (everything cause we trashed EVERY BIT) they wanna sell?

You can get away with a disc conversion without swapping the master cylinder out immediately. You will notice a slight difference in the braking however, not a drastic one though. It would be advisable to switch it to a Corvette one when possible.

Why go through all the trouble to back track to drum brakes for a master cylinder swap?

Anyhow, you could find what you need at a pick-n-pull if all else fails.

It'll work ok without swapping the master. I've still got the same one on my K10.

I've still got the 3" drums off my axle, but need to be turned.

OADN, you can use the MC you have. Just install a small proportioning valve in the rear to restrict fluid flow.

its a grand cherokee master cylinder, and we were told that it wouldnt push near enough volume for the big rear calipers needed for the disc swap........maybe we were told wrong

My Corvette comment was meant for a Chevy pickup or K5. Didn't even realize you were talking Jeep.

Go buy a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve, splice into your rear brake line and adjust it til it stops how you want it to. My Wilwood valve was $40. If you need or want more info on, how to, let me know.

The willwood valve will work. I am running one on a stock master cylinder in my drag truck and it works great.

the setup on the chero will work fine!
besides you are only useing 1/2 ton brake calipers in the swap anyway! so you dont need that much more pressure but if you have to have the stuff i have mine sitting in a bucket, and still have drums sitting here as well! i am about 2 1/2 hrs south west of ya!
