I've got access to 2 of them. Where is Humble in relation to Longview (NE Texas)? If it's too far it may not be worth your drive.

ummm, have you never heard of the variations in WMS of like the three or four different 14 bolts out there, which causes variations in the spring perch pin to pin measurement...unless of course you don't mind having a much more narrow rear end like the 67-72s, or you don't mind relocating spring perches...so yea if you don't mind, then year doesn't matter...

How much you looking to spend? I know a guy that has one with 5:13 gears already installled and maybe even Disk brakes. I am 2 hours north of houston. I will also be at shiloh ridge this weekend if someone want to take it down there for you. I will call the guy and find out the WMS-WMS and some more info on it.

I just talked the guy and he is selling a pair of axle. It is a D44 3/4 ton front end and a 14BFF rear end. They came from a '70-'84 chevy truck. The rear has 5:13 gears and the front is stock I believe he said 4:09's maybe. Hes not for sure on the WMS-WMS though. Also he will take $325 for both axle. THe rear is drum brakes not disks.

Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty and pull out the grinder(it's the thing that goes really really fast and makes sparks....), and do some fabrication. You'd be suprised at what can be done off line... New perches are easily adjusted. Shock mounts are easily re-located. "BETTER BUILT THAN BOUGHT"

He's running 5.13's with an ARB up front and welded spiders in the rear. It'll PROBABLY be towards the end of the summer before it gets swapped out though. Need to finish the season first, and locate the Rocks.

I didnt know that. THey told me and everyone else that I talked to that it only went down to 5:13. All well. I can still do about a 40 foot burnout with 40" tires and a 318.

what's a grinder again? lol. i know they can be relocated, but why are you going to get a 14 bolt that you don't have to do work on...just find the one with the correct pin to pins. save you some time. i plan on getting a wider 14 bolt for mine to even out the track a bit more. i could possibly be interested in your axles muddslinger, so keep me in mind.

Yeah I know. I am also running a 1410 U-joint at the axle the u-bolt instead of the bands so I am pretty much set there.
