I got a friend nearby who has both. They mate with a 350. Which do you really want, if not both?

A divorced transfer case is a stand alone, meaning it's not "mated" to a tranny. It is connected to the transmission by a driveshaft. tx_fireman1525, are you looking for a driver or passenger drop? Not to get your hopes up, I don't have one, but I'll keep my eye out for one. I got mine out of a mid 70's 1 ton powerwagon. It's a 205 with a pass drop. I found mine on ebay for $300.

Correct me if i'm wrong then, obviously you don't mind, but isn't it possible to take the t-cases that AREN'T "mated" to anything, and do whatever is needed to get it to the point that it's considered "Divorced"?

If i'm wrong, please let me know. Doesn't make much difference to me, but knowledge is something that I acquire daily, and appreciate.

However, if i'm right, he still has them both.............and they can be DIVORCED.

Look on Austink5.
There is a guy who says he has the parts to make a 205 divorced.
I asked for pics but never got a response.

Thanks David. Was curious about that before. Heard about divorced t-cases, just thought nothing of it.

No harm, no foul. Typed words get understood differently by each person. Good luck on your search.
