Can you post a pic of what it looks like? I have a dodge 44, but I have no idea what year. It looks like it has unitbearings?

Ok, the one I have looks like it has unit bearings, but I'm not exactly sure of the year. I can try to get a pic of it in the next day or two. Hows $75? I believe it is 100% complete.

This axle came from a Dodge Ram 1/2ton. But im thinking the year is 94 to 97. I think in 98 they swopped to dual ABS.

My 97 1500 dodge ram has a abs box in it. But ive never felt the brake surge. And ive owned it sense new.

Are you going to put this in a rig. If so. There super weak. The unit bearing wont last long with tire over 35" and the axle discount is a weak link to. Plus this is were it well bend. And the shaft are a joke for anything over 33"s.

I see.
Swoppping in a ford hi pinion axle is the cheapest and fastest why to do it.Plus this axle is 5x;s strong all the way round.

I tried this a hole moc up for mine but the axle shafts. Were going to kill the hole idea. I couldnt find any stock off the shelf axle shaft. They were going to be custom made $$$$$$. I just moc'd ford spindles and hubs to the stock C'c. But it ended up 2 or 3 inchs wider then stock.
So the second idea was to replace to hole long tub and C's on the axle. With a 76 to 78 d44 ford hi-pinion tub and C's.
So third i just desided to mount all my brackets to a 76 to 78hi-pinion ford d44. But i ended up building my buggy and quit offroading my truck. And found life time warrinty unit bearings. Every 5 to 6 months i was replacing them. Sence i was running 37's. I did them in the parts store parking lot acouple times.

both EMS, DLux fab, etc use off the shelf parts. no custom pieces necessary.

only ford item used is the hub, fyi.

im going to piece a setup together. ive been researching and looking at everyone's build-ups who have bought the kit. the only 'custom' piece is the 1 piece shaft to eliminate the CAD. d44 seems to be the only hurdle. on a pre-99 D60(they change the balljoints on the knuckles) Ford D60 knuckles will bolt up.

google EMS off-road. they have sold plenty of kits. i dont know how to get around the ABS, but i really dont care since that doesn't pertain to me.

Mitch, i want the axle. My '98 doesnt have ABS. just trying to figure out how to get it down from where your at to B/CS.

Cool kit(EMS). But i see to custom peice in there kit. Spindle and axle shafts. Axle shaft are no big deal. Just call moser and order a set to your specs.

But the spindle doesnt look stock. But it mite be. Hell they have the kit for $795 20%off that not bad. But i dont see the long axle shaft with that kit.

Even with that kit your axle well still have a weak link. The disconnect box. It bends super eazy.
