Updated-Isuzu Trooper/Rodeo/Amigo

*****EDIT*****
Nevermind-
bought a '90 Trooper

UPDATE- Still looking for something. I've decided my 1st choice is a Trooper. Needs to have a manual trans, 4X4, $1500 or less.

I'm in the market for a cheap Rodeo or Amigo. Does not HAVE to be 4 wheel drive. I'm just looking for a daily w/ enuff room to haul the kids on occasion. Needs to have a standard trans.

I might even look at a Trooper if it were a good deal.

So how cheap is cheap? Below 1500 bucks. I know they are out there in that price range, but everytime I find an ad for one its been sold already.

Needs to be fairly close to South Texas. I'm down near Corpus. Will travel if the deal looks promising!

Thanx.

do dont!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A 4 BANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!
no power at all even w/ the standard trans. i worked at isuzu dealer for 7years. i also had a couple of rodeos. their is just no power taken off.
its very scarry when taking off & a car coming fast from a coner.
just my 2 cents. take it if you want.

same goes w/ the amigo.

I've driven several Isuzu pick-ups, & an Amigo- I know what to expect in the acceleration department. Thanx for the reminder, though.

try www.4x4wire.com and planetisuzoo.com. I know there is a guy in Longview who might be selling his 87 Trooper pretty soon. I also know of a Vehicross for sale, but it is 10x your price range...

Yes, Alpine makes the Superchargers for the 3.5, and the VX I mentioned has one on it :> It is sweet.
