Nv4500

Well I toasted my trans in California, so any one have one lying around? It will be for a 03 Cummins 4x4, but I'll have all the adapters and going to a bigger input shaft, so I think any of the 4500's will work right?

Thanx, but I'd rather rebuild mine if I have to go through one

You sure you need an nv4500 and not an nv5600? It's a 5spd?

Yes, 5 speed. NV5600 are the six and only came on H.O. motors that year

Do yourself a favor and pull the shifter and top the transmission off with fluid. They come low from the factory and will lock up. I found out the hard way and its not fun.

Is this on all NV tranny's? I've never head of this before, I just always filled it from the side fill hole
