I think I have what you need. It's the tube with the tie rod ends that connect the pitman arm to the steering arm. Let me get some pics and see if that will work for you. If not I have a 3" spacer the goes under the steering arm.

What I believe to be the problem is the "arm" or bananna shaped peaice
they have a deferant curve for the lifted truck so that your Pitman arm
the straight peaice witht eh ball joints stays relitivly flat..
Thats the way I was told it needs to work.
My problem is that when I turn the wheel I dont get much out of my wheels
but the truck dose lift excesavly which I belive is the miss alignment of the arm pushing more up and down than in and out.

I think I have a drop pitman arm for that truck. I'll look tonight and see if I can find it.

Dose it sound like I'm on the right track to fix my problem????
This was my first Axle swap/lift so I'm learning all the little things the fun way.

I would say the arm would definately help you out. Have you checked the castor, and what about the upper ball joint nut that is lose in the pic? Is that tight now?

No that would'nt get tight becouse the the shaft was spinning but it wasent moving.. when I turned the wheel,, The wheels look to siting with no caster or camber nor do they apper to have any tow. The joints in my Pitman arm
have seen better days so thats on the list to replace but dont think thats my problem. I have had a steering leak that needs to be taken care of. Could this have some thing to do with it?
I did notice when i played with it that it seemd to turn weal one time then not the other....I will go back and hunt for loose bolts but still frustrated...

Thanks I'll hang on to your number and call you if I need the arm.
I'm planning on doing some work to it this weekend; hope to find the problem..

Should I get 2" of lift from the left side of the truck when I turn the wheels hard right?
Allso I noticed that I can turn more right than left, Any advice.
