Tow rig wanted

Looking for a good running diesel truck that could pull a trailer with a fullsize, heavy, Blazer to Gilmer and back.. Anyone have suggestions on what I should be looking for? As of right now those specs are all I need. No $25000.00 rigs please, I'm poor. Under 10K would be good. Under 5k would be best. Thanks guys. My son may be buying one also.

I have a 1992 F250 4x4 Dually Long Bed. White with red intererior extended cab. Has removable gooseneck hitch already in bed, Ranch Hand rear bumper and front brush guard. 460v8 rebuilt auto tranny, rebuilt 1356 t-case, new drive shafts, 6-new tires, new brake SYSTEM ( MASTER CYLINDER, BOOSTER, PADS, ROTORS, CALIPERS, DRUMS). Have used it to pull 30' gooseneck with my K5, buddys Cheerokee and 2 4wheelers to Shiloh, have pulled trailer from Houston to Midland, To Dallas and ONLY problem I ever had was 1 Blown u-joint. Just sits in my drive way taking up space. Over $8000.00 invested asking $4,500.00

83 scrambler is infamous around these parts
2004 GMC YUKON XL 2500, 4x4, new listed for 52K asking 23K. It has every option and a 6.0. Pulls great.

Look for a 91.5 to 93 or even 94 to early 98 cummins. They can usually be had for 10K or less and can make gobbs of HP/TQ for very little money. Don't worry about mileage when looking they are good for 500K plus, well at least the engine is anyways.

Thanks for the offers and info. More please.

I changed the original post to reflect the fact that, after pricing trailers, it will only have to be able to tow 1 FS Blazer.

Look around before you buy and think you can't afford a long trailer. I found my 30' in Dallas for $2,800. Had to rewire it and replace 1 of 3 axles. You can find a good deal if not in a hurry. Pics sent to email.

I have no where to park a 30' trailer. I will have to put the regular one in a storage facility anyway.
TTT for today.
