Vehicle that gets 30mpg+

No 4 doors. Don't care about make, year, or model.

Looking for around 1500 or trade ya for my CB1100F.

I drive 500+ miles a week and diesel prices are killing me.

I just picked up a 1999 with the 1.5 and a manual. Hoping for around 40 highway. Previous owner said he averaged 38-42 depending on weather and driving.

Cant help in that price range, but if you wanted a diesel jetta I have a 98 that my wife drives. She has been talking about wanting to sell it. I'd be looking for $3500 if your price range comes up. It was rebuilt 25K ago, gets 40+ MPG, uses about a qt every 1500miles(which is not uncommon on the old AHU's), has good tires, new battery, new cold a/c, very good interior for the age.

I wanted a 00+ Golf TDI, but prices were ridiculous, even for a HIGH mileage one. The '83 Mercedes fit the bill. Wish it'd get 45+ MPG.

Yep. I got the jetta with 240k on the clock and not running. Then I had to do a rebuild which aint cheap on those tdi's. But, they are worth it.

Okay, hijack off.
