WTB Dana 60 front

I am looking for a drivers drop 60 for a 1971 k20. 69.5 to 70.5 wms to wms, prefer a leaf spring 60, but can make a coil unit work.

restified

The chevy parts i used are from a 95 Cab/Chasis. It had a BW4401 tcase which is drivers drop. I was planning to use an np241 pass drop, but doubt it would hold up the the corvette 427.

pics

Here is a link to my build.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=380566

It will have a 427/nv4500/bw4401. I built the dana 44 planning to use it and when i got the ujoints, I figured out the week link. By the times I cleaned the axles, I just finished the rebuild and started looking for a 60.

The axles and 260x ujoints are not up to the rest of the project.

I have a couple sets of srw tires and wheels that I can use besides the duals. i would like to be able to use my spacers to run duals for the heavy hauling I do and take them off for wheeling.

There are some pics of the motor and nv4500 on the build thread.

Honestly you will probably be okay with the D44 if you go easy and dont do anything stupid. I have a k5 and i was running 38in Tsls with a aussie locker and i never had any problems. Granted im not doing any hard core rockcrawling but im not easy on the skinny pedal.

What kind of wheeling are you wanting to do?

I have an SRW 60 driver drop out of a late 90's Chevy van. The perches are just welded onto this one, so they can be easily swapped around for different spring widths. Price depending on how complete you would want it.

I think I found one.

Thanks to all of you. I found one in San Antonio. Just making arrangements to meet to pick it up. A 44 might have worked, but I would have had to buy a drivers drop anyway so might as well bight the bullet. Now that I found one, I have a dana 44 pass drop fresh rebuild for sale. Any offers? You can see the blasted case and parts removed in my build posted earlier. It is back together -hubs and rotors in case it needs 5 or 6 lug hubs.
