Probably a dummy question but what's the difference between the hubs? I know the spindles and outer knuckles are different.

Spindles are shorter and the bearing surfaces are in different locations. So the hubs have the bearings in a slight bit different locations

Are the Chevy and dodge knuckles the same? I thought they were but not sure.

he has DRW hubs on the axle now, he would probably be willing to trade.

You have some Ford SRW hubs? If so, I'd be up for a trade and you aren't far from me. I go back and forth to College Station often on 21, so I could just meet you in Bastrop and drop them off.

I live right off 21 in the burn area. I'm in no rush and still need to take them off the axle. The axle was in the back of a trailer (truck bed that was turned into a trailer) when the fire came through. The axle got hot but I don't think it affected the hubs. Call or text me at 512-925-9171 if you're still interested

Sounds like you are talking about a rear axle... I need hubs for the front axle, unless there is some oddball thing that they work. Not really up to snuff on rear 60s.

I'm talking about front. The D60 was sitting inside the bed/trailer as the fire passed by. The tires burned off the trailer ,but the axles inside the bed were somewhat protected from the fire because of the metal bed. I'll go get a pic.

Aight. Those should work. I'm in the same situation, in that the hubs aren't off the axle yet. If you are up for it, I should be able to grab them in about 2-3 weeks (going to be traveling till then), and I'll meet up with you and we can trade hubs.

Yeah, I just haven't had a weekend to go take the hubs off. Next weekend I'll have time to take the hubs off and the weekend of the 29th I'll be passing through bastrop and can drop them off

Hey man, my plans this past weekend didn't work out, so I wasn't able to pull the hubs off. If you are in a hurry, don't hold those for me. I for sure want them and will follow through, but the next time I'll be able to work on it will be the weekend of October 6th.
